The Ravello set is a small stage for everyday life at home. Tables around which conversations, books, and quiet afternoons gather.

The town of Ravello is located high above the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy and has been famous for centuries for its gardens, terraces, and decorative mosaics. In the old villas and monasteries of the town, one can see intricate ceramic and stone ornaments, interweaving floral motifs, geometry, and vibrant colors – a characteristic feature of the Mediterranean decorative tradition.

These ornaments carry the spirit of a place where different cultures have met over the centuries – from the Roman decorative tradition to the Arab and Byzantine influences that shaped the rich visual language of the region.

The tile mosaic in this set is precisely reminiscent of this tradition. Ravello is a variety of motifs gathered in one composition, just as the old squares of southern towns gather different stories.
